Presentation Skills

The course is aimed at developing fundamental presentation skills, such as preparation of the content and structure of presentation, usage of appropriate language discourse as well as body language, responding to questions and decreasing stage fright and stress. During the course the participants will prepare and present their own presentation on a chosen topic, which will be video recorded and later analyzed. They will receive feedback from others as well as from the tutor and will focus on identifying their distinct presentation styles.

1st module:
- Self-presentation, giving and receiving feedback
- Process of presentation, language questions
- Usage of nonverbal communication and paralanguage
- Assignment: preparation of a presentation

2nd module:
- Video recording participants presentations, analyses and feedback
- Evaluation form: How good speaker I am
- Dealing with stage fright and difficult questions from the audience
