In this course, we will learn basic and slightly more advanced vocabulary for everyday spoken and written communication in Czech.
We will learn how to use common communicative phrases from contemporary Czech and focus on natural communication in various social situations.
We will cover the basics of Czech grammar and create a foundation for further study.
For this purpose, we will use the English version of the modern textbook Česky krok za krokem 1 and its rich online resources
(Czech–English page-by-page glossary, online exercises, audio materials, posters).
The textbook is designed for A1 and A2 levels. It is suitable for students with a serious, long-term interest in Czech who wish to integrate into Czech society.
The course also includes an introduction to Czech history, culture, and real-life context.
